Message touted as being based upon objectivity everyone knows that that 'objectivity' is inherently based upon subjectivity (laws derived from mores derived from folkways -- thou shalt not kill bullshit)

and its also very true that its word against word when you contest allegations in court and that there is a presumption of honesty on the part of the officer... whether they lie doenst often become evident to the court after one traffic citation but often does become apparent after continual 'stretching' of the truths... i've seen it happen more then once where officers have compromised their integrity in front of the court and consequently been terminated from employment (once you get caught lying to one judge your testimony as an 'objective' witness is useless in court and so is thus u'r continued employment as a police officer)

i was more commenting on that the legal theory of entrapment doenst apply to non-criminal aka violation-level offenses.

my comments on strict liablity (you did it or you didnt do it regardless of your mindset) were made because most individuals that complain about violations assume that they are afforded the entire protection of judicial process when in reality they only get an abbreviated version since there is no potential for imprisonment / deprivation of liberty

btw... nice job on the ecu maps... we're gonna order two more pretty soon and my roomate is dying for a zemulator to finish his freshly rebuilt engine
